The Words Behind The Posts

Stepping on the scale to gain 2 lbs in just a few days really put's a damper on your day. I find it easier to stay on track when protein smoothies are included. Making a conscious effort to re-start (all over again...) and stick to foods I know (GG's, veggies, Built bars, F- Factor smoothies and certainly no cauliflower oats!).


I always feel SO disappointed in writing these posts, but I hate ( H-A-T-E) When I see instagram influencers or bloggers lying about what they eat. "I eat pizza and French fries every day and wear a size 00". Yeah I bet sweetie. Even more mind blowing than that is that these IG followers have 100,000k + followers believing the words behind the posts. And then there's me who blogs about the difficulty in "dieting" (sometimes) and life in general. Everything isn't picture perfect with a cherry on top - nor does it have to be.

Breakfast 930am

  • Egg white scramble with spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes

  • Crepini Egg thins and 1/2 tbsp Choczero maple syrup

Thoughts: Even after a 30 min peloton ride this morning I was stuffed after the midnight munchies last night and didn't want to eat breakfast. From experience this always backfires, so I went for a healthy option


Lunch 1230Pm

  • 2 Gg Crackers with 1 tbsp greek cream cheese, turkey and cucumber

  • Small side salad with carrots and 1 beefsteak tomato

  • 1 Fage 2% yogurt with 5 green grapes (not pictured)

Thoughts: Still trying to figure out what works for me and what doesn't so I treated myself to a 2% Fage yogurt for a change. The added fat fills me up more and as for the grapes-that's what happens when you go to the grocery store (again..) and have no self control whilst unpacking!

Snack 3Pm

  • F-Factor vanilla smoothie


Dinner 530 Pm

  • Tuna salad with zucchini noodles, cauliflower rice, mixed vegetables, romaine/argula topped with a serving of Parmesan

  • Seaweed


Dessert ...(yes I had dessert again..ugh!) With me I'm just an all or nothing kind of woman. So although I nicely planned out my dessert (1/4 light cheesecake with 1/2 serving of Arctic Zero) it ended up being 1 entire cheesecake and 1.5 servings of Arctic Zero
